Description
Wild Island Spiced Fig Balsamic Dressing & Dip – just think deep balsamic with sweet fig and extra spices, what’s not to love. Let your imagination go ‘wild’. A fabulous dressing, addictive and versatile. An essential dressing to goat’s cheese, fig and tomato salad, but it also has so many uses with it’s sweet, sticky richness. Once you start using it you will find any excuse to use Wild Island Spiced Fig. A little drizzle on your pizza, add a boost to your sauces. Add a little to your slow cooked beef cheeks – oh yes! Try This Recipe and use instead of or as well as the brandy. This is as much a summery dressing and dip ingredient as it is a necessity for giving your winter cooking a great depth of flavour.
This is a great marinade ingredient for chicken when you add a little honey and olive oil. With the same ingredients of honey, Wild Island Spiced Fig and Olive Oil drizzle over Briddlesford Halloumi Style Cheese after cooking. Simple, but effective. For an enhanced Greek Salad to accompany your Roast or BBQ Goat or Lamb add a drizzle of Wild Island Spiced Fig.
Wild Island have a fantastic recipe for fig, prosciutto & goat’s cheese salad with Spiced Fig Balsamic, which is basically as it sounds with a lovely crunch of chopped walnuts. Or you could add some honeyed walnuts, which we occasionally make for sale at Christmas.
